As a reaction after the elixir reduces the fire damage you take from an effect, you can end the elixir’s fire resistance to gain temporary Hit Points equal to the amount of damage the elixir’s fire resistance prevented from the triggering effect. You gain these temporary Hit Points immediately after resolving any other damage you take from the triggering effect, and the temporary Hit Points last for 1 hour.
