Favored by spellcasters who like to experiment and push the boundaries of their spellcasting, a spellcaster’s serum is a sweet tasting, translucent fluid that comes in varying colors. Drinking a spellcaster’s serum fills you with additional magical energy that you can use to enhance the next spell you cast. This energy lasts until the end of your next turn. If you don’t cast a spell in this time, this magical energy is wasted with no effect. A spell can be modified by only one spellcaster’s serum at a time and each spellcaster’s serum can modify only one spell.

Bolstering: A bolstering spellcaster’s serum is yellow. The first time you cast a spell while this serum is in effect, you can increase its DC. If the spell uses a spell slot lower than the highest level of spell you can cast, increase the DC of the spell by 1, to a maximum of the same DC as the highest level of spells you can cast. If the spell is the highest level of spell you can cast, the spell is unaffected by the effects of this serum.
