Crafted for emergency rescues by a species of outsiders native to the Drift known as spectra, these flat, lozenge-shaped boards allow the user to safely transport creatures and objects through space and the Drift. A void board can support one Large or smaller creature and items of up to 10 Bulk; it projects a force field that provides protection against cosmic radiation and the frigid vacuum of space. The board can travel through space or the Drift using standard navigation and astrogation (Core Rulebook 290) at a third of the speed of conventional thrusters (triple the results of dice rolled for transit time).
