This viscous black fluid is speckled with pinpricks of light and color, and tastes refreshingly chill. Favored by spacefarers, asteroid miners, and other people who spend a lot of time aboard starships and space stations, void serums enable you to survive in space. Intended as an emergency failsafe, void serums are meant to be consumed when armor’s environmental protections run out or the integrity of a starship hull or space station is suddenly compromised. While the protections offered by void serum don’t last long, it can mean the difference between life and death.

For 3 hours after you drink this serum, you don’t need to breathe and are immune to the normal environmental effects of being in a vacuum. This does not prevent damage taken from decompression (Core Rulebook 394).
