On a failed Reflex saving throw, for 1d4 rounds, any creature with the swarm defenses universal creature rule takes half damage from single target attacks or effects that it would normally be immune to. On a failed Reflex saving throw, for 1d4 rounds, any creature with the troop defenses ability receives full damage from single target attacks, and can be targeted by effects that target a specific number of creatures.
