Sometimes you just need to keep searching for more favorable realities. Once per day when you reroll an attack roll, saving throw, ability check, or skill check using your alternate outcome ability and the second roll’s result would miss or fail, you can either reroll one additional time and use the third result, or you gain one additional use of alternate outcome that lasts until the next time you rest to recover spell slots.
