Separate Spirit

Your understanding of the relationship between the physical and spiritual worlds enables you to force a creature’s spirit out of its physical body and onto the Ethereal Plane.

Preqrequisite

Spirit Walk, Third Eye.

Benefit

Once per day, as a standard action, you can attempt to force a creature’s spirit out of its body and onto the Ethereal Plane. When you do, attempt a melee attack against a foe within reach. If you hit, you deal no damage and the target must attempt a Will saving throw with a DC equal to 10 + half your ranks in Mysticism + your Wisdom modifier. On a failure, you force the target’s spirit out of its body and into the Ethereal Plane until the end of your next turn. Creatures subject to this effect leave their physical body behind as if using the Spirit Walk feat; they can’t voluntarily end this effect, but if their body or spirit takes any damage, the effect instantly ends. You can also take a move action to immediately return the spirit to its body.
